A Study About Growing: The Anabolic Signaling Mechanisms, Part 1
This is an open-minded study about how the body grows and about anabolic signaling mechandisms affect on the body. Trying to find out how our bodies are affected by exercising or a diet we may go on? Should you eat 30g of protein every 3 hours? Can exercises really harm the body? These questions during the sudy or research must be taking into consideration when studying also the anabolic mechanisms. Our bodies can go through temporary changes when we eating protein. Many researchers argue that these temporary changes may predict muscle growth of the body, eventhough the body itself is complex. And for example the many anabolic mechanisms of mens bodies and one of mechanism may cause a muscle gain during excerises or anabolic hormones such as testosterone causing hypertrophy. Does this mean that a testosterone spike after exercise leads to more gains?
And two mechanisms that have many interesting functions in the body, like muscle protein synthesis (MPS) and muscle protein breakdown (MPB). Which may help the body adapt to exercise. Whether we perform weightlifting or some form iof excerise our body begin to adapt to the external stressor on our bodies then begin adding on musle mass. If you have a lot of muscle mass, you’re more likely to have a good internal environment. It shows that you have developed athletic ability as well within your body’s capacity not excessive exercising which harms the body. Can anabolic signaling mechanisms predict hypertrophy? The two anabolic mechandisms muscle protein synthesis (MPS) and muscle protein breakdown (MPB) are the primary mechanisms that regulate muscle, tissue growth and loss. That daily net balance of MPS and MPB is hypothesized to determine our mass gains. Called muscle tissue remodeling, which respond to stimuli such as exercise, diet, and sleep. Discovered in last couple of years via new research that MPS and MPB are not as directly linked to hypertrophy. But MPS and MPB also change as a response to injury, inflammation, and muscle damage to the the body..
Key Takeaways:
- Scientists believe that temporary changes caused by our body’s anabolic signaling mechanisms can be used to predict muscle growth.
- Exercise is a factor that has an effect on the anabolic signaling mechanism.
- Not everybody’s body reacts the same to diet and exercise. Therefore, not one mechanism alone determines success or failure of diet and exercise.
“The body contains many anabolic mechanisms, and they are all connected to each other – kind of like how a car consists of many parts that rely on each other to function.”
